// GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES //
Telašćica is a bay situated on the SE part of the island of Dugi otok. It is 8200 m long and 150-1500 m wide, with the total coast length of 68,78 km. Inside the bay there are 5 small islets and one cliff, and 25 small coves. Differentiated shapes of the coastal relief inside the bay (numerous capes, islets, narrow passages, coves with mainly stone coasts), together with three parts, separated by narrow and shallow passages, form the exceptional natural phenomenon.
The Nature Park is bounded on NW and NE side with identical landscape forms of Karst peaks and plains exchanging in the area of Sali, Zaglav and Žman, and with the Dugi otok cliff. This is the biggest and the most prominent cliff on the Adriatic coast and it presents an explicit contrast with gentle coves of the bay itself. The cliff extends from the cape Mrzlovica on the NW to the slopes of the Veli vrh on the SE, with the highest peak Grpašćak with 161 m of altitude. On the SW there is open sea, towards the SE continues the area of the "Kornati" National Park, and towards the east there is the Žut part of the Kornati island group with the part of the local waters of Srednji kanal.
On the open sea the Nature Park includes the island groups of Garmenjak, Sestrica and the island of Mala Aba, and in the area of Luka Proversa island groups Buča and Gornje Abe, the extremely attractive local waters at the entrance of the "Kornati" National Park.
Nature Park extends from the sea level to the maximum heights on Mrzlovica (198 m), Brčastac (198, 5 m) and Čelinjak (198, 5 m). Maximum depths reach up to 85 m.
