The characteristics of the eumediterranean climate are highlighted in the meteorological indicators obtained on the basis of monitoring of climatic parameters.

The annual course of air temperature indicates distinct maritime properties, relatively pleasant average temperatures in January (6.4 º and 7.1 º C) and July (24.1 º C) with relatively small annual range (17.7 º and 17.0 º C). Temperature extremes are in July and January. In average a total of 12 days annually the temperature rises above 30ºC.

The annual number of days with rain is very small, only 87, which in terms of park attendance is very important (in Zadar, e.g. 111 days). Lack of rain in the summer months as well as the substantial annual variations caused the development of vegetation which can withstand such conditions.

The annual wind curve shows the repetition frequency of winds from the NE (17%), NW (15%), and the SE quadrant (14%), i.e. bora, north wind (sea breeze) and sirocco.
